Lindsey Veterinary Care is a small animal veterinary practice specializing in general medicine, surgery and dental procedures. We focus on personalized, traditional veterinary care for local pets and take great pride in the special bonds forged with the families of this community and their four-legged family members.
Dr. Lindsey opened his practice on the ideal of providing a superior level of patient care and client service, in close cooperation with the referring veterinary community. Our goal is to establish a trusting relationship with you and your pet and offer excellent long-term care, always focusing on your pet’s quality of life.
Since we are not affiliated with any specific specialty practices, we work to secure the best match between client, patient and veterinary specialist. The areas of specialty referral are: internal medicine, ophthalmology, dermatology, veterinary dentistry, behavior, cardiology, cancer therapy, and a host of others. For imaging cases, such as x-rays, ultrasound, MRI and CT Scans, we utilize the Veterinary Imaging Center of San Diego, which is within walking distance of our facility, and offers state-of-the art equipment.
At least once a year, you should take your pet in for a check-up which will include a full physical exam, including skin, ears and teeth. Dr. Lindsey will examine your pet from head to tail and may recommend lab tests or Xrays. After the exam, there should be no surprises on your pets health issues.
Bring in any medical history you have of your pet when you come to our vet clinic. It's best to keep a journal of your pet's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. Dr. Lindsey can still work with whatever information you have.
In some circumstances, Dr. Lindsey will refer you to a specialist who has advanced expertise in areas such as internal medicine or surgery.
